TAIWAN ADVENTIST INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL
The purpose of Taiwan Adventist International School is to get students ready for universities abroad and in the Taiwan. We make a strong focus on the core academic subjects required to perform well in college: English reading and academic writing, math, science, and social studies. Students get the benefit of an international education and learning environment with small class sizes and dedicated, qualified teachers.
We’re proud to be partnering with the following organizations to bring you the best education for the 21st-century.
Individualized Course Plans
The student and college counselor work together to take the courses which will prepare the student the best for his or her career choice and university plans in the future. Students have a variety of electives to choose from like art, graphic design, film, advertising, non-profit organization, and more. These electives give them support for their futures abroad and experiences they can use for college applications.
Western universities are looking for students who have independent thought and can express themselves well in written and verbal forms. TAIS teaches students how to construct claims and back them up with reasons and research. This will prove invaluable in their future endeavors.
Foreign Teachers and English Instruction
International School Environment: Students at TAIS progress rapidly in their verbal skills due to constant contact with foreign teachers and focused ELL support for those in need. Classes are structured so that students have many opportunities to present to the class in English or discuss with their peers.
