中文在復臨的課程當中是第二語言，但對於台灣孩子來說，在全英文的學習環境中，中文課將幫助他們保留或提升原有的中文能力，對於外國學生來說，則能夠因此課程而學習中文，並且有機會更深度了解台灣與當地的文化。

A big congratulations to our Chinese teacher, Fang, for receiving two awards in two different Chinese literature composition competitions! While Chinese is taught as a second language at TAIS, it plays a vital role in helping Taiwanese students maintain their language proficiency while studying in a predominantly English learning environment. It also offers foreign students the opportunity to learn and practice Chinese as their second language and gain a deeper understanding of Taiwan’s local culture. We are so proud of you, Ms. Fang!
